Headhunter - Headhunter LP. HEADHUNTER is a project by former members of Swiss metalband KILLER, Manny Maurer and Beat T. Kofmehl. Together with Peter Tanner and Greg Bleuel they recorded their thunderous self titled debut album in 1985, supported by KROKUS mastermind, successful producer and book author CHRIS VON ROHR (GOTTHARD, KROKUS etc). Peter Tanner and Manny Maurer later joined KROKUS themselves for their 'STAMPEDE' album. After a short intro HEADHUNTER starts with THE SWEET-cover 'ACTION'. Other highlights are 'RATS ON THE LOOSE' and 'LIGHTNING STRIKES'. 'RIDING ON AT MIDNIGHT' is also a great piece of Heavy Metal history. And the rest? All killer, no filler! Nice reissue of this hard to find record. (sealed)
