Blind Illusion - The Sane Asylum CD. Blind Illusion was one of the most extravagant US metal bands from the 1980's. 'The Sane Asylum' is the group's only release, and also the album debut of Les Claypool (Primus). The guitarists Larry Lalonde (Possessed, Primus) and bandleader Mark Biedermann (from Blue Oyster Cult's 'Imaginos') created sensational arrangements, solos and presented a many faceted style of thrash metal with Zappaesque '70s hardrock elements. This remastered version comes with linernotes by M. Biederman, unseen photos plus as previously unreleased bonus tracks the 1985 'Trilogy Of Terror' demo, which was produced by Kirk Hammett. This is in a similar vein as Metallica's or Testament's early works! (digipak, m/m)
