Description
The Brotherhood - Stavia LP. Originally released in 1972, in a private edition of 200 copies, the sole album by this fine Ohio-based outfit gets reissued on vinyl. Musically we're talking an imaginative blend of hippie-flavoured acid/psych-rock, and soul and funk. Badly bootlegged in the '90s, including tracks from a totally unrelated band, 'Stavia' by The Brotherhood, at last sees a proper and official repress. Liner notes by band member John Hurd are included. Sold both of my super rare original copies last year...impossible to find now without spending huge money. When I pulled them out of my stash a year ago I was thinking how this thing needed a reissue and boom...here it is. (sealed, m/m)
