Description

Caravan - Caravan LP. Vinyl reissue of the 1969 debut album from British band Caravan, who was the other half of the Wild Flowers -the Soft Machine being the other- that originated in Canterbury, Kent. The band itself was originally formed in early 1968 by guitarist/vocalist Pye Hastings, keyboardist Dave Sinclair, bassist/vocalist Richard Sinclair, and drummer Richard Coughan. All four members of Caravan were top quality. They were a leading exponent of what became known as "The Canterbury sound", and this debut album is a keen mixture of prog rock and jazz. Heavy cover. (m-/m-, new)
