Description
Ibis - Sun Supreme LP. In the early '70s, the members of the Italian prog group New Trolls fought a battle over the use of the band name. This resulted in two new bands, N.T. Atomic System founded by Vittorio De Scalzi, and Nico de Palo's Ibis. The latter made three LPs, of which the debut was released in 1973 (under the name Nico, Gianni, Frank & Maurizio). 'Sun Supreme', here reissued on vinyl, was the second LP by this group who came to be known as Ibis. It also features Englishman Ric Parnell (also of Horse, Atomic Rooster, and Spinal Tap!) on drums, who replaced drummer Gianni Belleno. The LP is a mighty solid effort, containing two side-long compositions. This is an awesome Japanese pressing from 1982 on the Polydor label. With OBI and insert. (m-/m-, tiny ding on corner only noticable from one side, maybe some ultra light whispery wear on disc, but only if you are a complete and total anal mint freak)
