Lily - V.C.U. LP. For the first time reissued on vinyl this is the official release of eponymous 1973 album of Frankfurt region group Lily, originally released on the Bacillus label. Lilys music revealed influences from Traffic to Van der Graaf Generator and Gnidrolog because of the flute and sax work. The album is also comparable to the 1st Nine Days Wonder or Os Mundis "43 Minuten" albums. Lily was not a progressive jazz rock outfit as it is written in some encyclopedia but played a melodic and heavy progressive rock. LP comes with insert containing band story by group member and bass player Wilfried Kirchmeier and a lot of photos. Remastered from the original Bellaphon tapes. Great sound quality. (sealed)
