Locomotive - Locomotive CD. Reissue of the blues psych album originally released in 1969 on the MGM label. I've hardly ever seen the original vinyl press, it's pretty rare. They were a heavy blues psych quartet from Mercer Island, Washington. Great guitar work by John Ussery, fine vocals, busy drumming with some keyboard parts. Heavy blues psych with an impressive, tight sound and some rural and progressive leanings. This carefully remastered record has much to recommend, particularly to fans of Humble Pie & Steppenwolf.
