Loudness - The Birthday Eve LP. 1981 debut album from Japan's most famous heavy metal band. Following the break-up of Japan's pop-rock group Lazy, Akira Takasaki and Munetaka Higuchi set out to create a pure heavy metal band. The last Lazy album shows glimpses of what was to come with supercharged (Schenker meets Van Halen style) guitarwork from Akira and is pretty far off from their earlier albums. Akira is now a guitar legend and Loudness has survived for decades! with obi and insert (vg+/ex, disc has some marks on first song each side, cover has some small creasings and tiny tear on back of obi)
